ECU Police investigating student death
East Carolina University Police are investigating the death of a student in a residence hall. ECU Police responded to the residence hall at approximately 9:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25.
At this time, there is no evidence to suggest foul play. The investigation is ongoing.
Out of respect for the family, the university is withholding the student’s name until the immediate family can notify other family members and close friends.
The ECU Counseling Center is available this week with walk-in hours from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. For holiday, weekend and after-hours crisis support, please call 252-328-6661 (press 2 if after hours).
