Gifts presented to BB&T Center for Leadership Development

At the February meeting of the BB&T Center for Leadership Developer’s Board of Directors, BB&T Eastern Region President Scott Evans presented ECU Chancellor Dr. Steve Ballard with a check for $250,000 as the third installment on a $1 million gift to the center. Pictured below, at the same meeting, a check for $500,000 was presented by the University of North Carolina to match a $1 million gift from ECU alumnus Tom Arthur of Tampa, Fla., to fund a leadership professorship in the ECU College of Business.
