Game day closures to affect traffic
Road closures
At 4 p.m. Oct. 23 the following Greenville streets will be closed to all traffic. All traffic will be allowed to exit but will not be allowed to re-enter:
14th Street from Charles Boulevard to Elm Street.
College Hill Drive entrance at 10th Street.
Commuter Advice
Commuters are advised to travel at least one road farther from the athletic complex than their usual route. For example:
- Those who usually travel Charles Boulevard might push over to Evans Street.
- Those who usually travel 10th Street should push over to Fifth Street.
- Those who usually travel Greenville Boulevard should use Red Banks Road.
Reserved Lots for Game Day Parking
Non-Student Pirate Club members may park in the Curry Court, Minges and Belk parking lots.
A1 spaces along 10th St. in front of the Christenbury Gym, Brewster Building and Fletcher Music Center are reserved for ADA (handicapped) parking. These spaces will be available for a fee on a first-come, first-served basis. A shuttle service will be available to and from this lot to Gate 9 at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
Individuals should not park in other reserved, handicapped, or maintenance/service spaces or in no parking and fire zones. Parking meters must be kept activated.
Free public parking is available at the Five-Points Plaza lot on the corner of Fifth Street and Evans Street. A shuttle will be available for this lot to the stadium beginning three hours before kick-off and two hours post-game.
Lots open
Tailgate lots will open at 4 pm.
