East Carolina Undaunted hosting Hurricane Dorian goods drive
East Carolina Undaunted, East Carolina University’s hurricane response team, will host a goods drive in partnership with the Hyde County manager’s office for Ocracoke Island residents affected by Hurricane Dorian.
The drive will be Sept. 18-27, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at ECU’s Willis Building at 300 E. First St. in Greenville.
Residents and recovery team members have an immediate need for the following items:
- WD-40
- Air conditioning window units
- Fire extinguishers
- Plastic bins
- Shovels
- Rakes
- Mops
- Brooms
- Shaving cream
- Laundry detergent
- Coffee
- Soft drinks
- Dry milk
- Gatorade
- Cat litter
At this time, non-perishable food, bottles of water and clothing are not needed.
