To have the North Carolina College Media Association recognize so many of our media and students speaks volumes about our commitment to educating and growing Student Media.”

These awards add to the growing list of Student Media awards for 2018-19. The Pinnacle Awards, a national recognition, honored student photographer Gregory Arnold with a Best Photo honorable mention in the fall. Additionally, Rebel 60, an art and literary publication, won the 2018 Pacemaker Award competition in the fall and has been awarded the 2019 Silver Crown Award for Print Literary-Art Magazines. “Our Student Media students and student leaders, current and past, deserve a tremendous amount of credit for the time commitment and passion to succeed,” said Harvey.
