ECU announces fall enrollment figures
Fall semester enrollment at East Carolina University is 17,803, the second-highest number ever. The number is down slightly from last year’s record of 17,846.
The average SAT score of first-time freshmen is 1019, up from 1014 a year ago and one of the highest average SAT scores ever recorded by an incoming ECU class. The enrollment figures are preliminary, based on counts taken last week, but they are not expected to change significantly. Official figures are compiled in October.
