ECU trustees endorse student fee increases
The ECU Board of Trustees has endorsed required student fee increases totaling $51 for the 2001-2002 academic year. The total required fees for next year, if they are approved by the University of North Carolina Board of Governors, would be $1,113, a 4.6 percent increase from $1,062 this year. The fee increases were proposed by administrators after consultation with representatives of the Student Government Association. The fee increases would go to Student Union programs, Mendenhall Student Center operations, athletics, the student health center, education and technology and student transit. One $3 fee, for student fund accounting, was eliminated.
