Kickball tournament to raise funds for Haitian students

GREENVILLE, N.C. —   Health sciences students at East Carolina University are teaming up for a kickball tournament to raise funds for Haitian students pursuing health care education.

The “Kick-it for Haiti” kickball tournament will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, on the field at Treybrooke Apartments on West Fifth Street. Cost is $20 per person with eight-10 people per team.

The tournament is sponsored by the East Carolina Association of Nursing Students, the Brody Chapter of the American Medical Association and the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association.
