Barnes Lecture set for Sept. 14

The Department of Cardiovascular Sciences Barnes Lecture will be held at 8 a.m. Sept. 14 at the East Carolina Heart Institute.
Dr. Blase A. Carabello will present, “Tough cases in VHD: The patient with severe asymptomatic VHD and the patient with far advanced end-stage disease.”
Carabello is vice chairman of the Department of Medicine at the W.A. “Tex” and Deborah Moncrief Jr. Baylor College of Medicine and medical care line executive at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
