ECU Honor Society inducts new members

East Carolina University’s College of Education inducted 16 new members into the Eta Chi Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society April 16.
The 16 new members included 13 College of Education students; Dr. Linda Patriarca, dean of the College of Education; Dr. Renee Neal, professor in mathematics science and instructional technology; and Dr. Alana Zambone, interim associate dean for grants and funded research.
Members of the education honor society must have maintained at least a 3.2 undergraduate GPA or 3.5 graduate GPA and exemplify worthy educational ideals and integrity.
The ECU chapter is a member of Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education, which was established to foster excellence in education and promote fellowship among those dedicated to teaching. The Eta Chi Chapter at ECU provides opportunities for network and leadership of both students and faculty, as well as involvement with community services.
