WALKING ON SUNSHINE
Symone Spaulding gets in her steps during walking tour of Geneva
The second day was dedicated to walking and exploring in Geneva.
The amount of walking we did had to be the most walking I have done in forever. We had a walking tour and some free time to explore.
I think we all underestimated how much we would have to walk in a single day in a big city like Geneva.
Cultural health observations:
- Walking seems to be the most popular form of transportation of those living in the city.
- The city’s water is said to be very clean so drinking out of a public fountain is very normal and not looked at as unsanitary like it is in the U.S.
- Breakfast is very small in Switzerland.
- The cup sizes are tiny compared to the U.S.
