COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics: April 26-30, May 3-6
As we finish the spring semester, there are plenty of opportunities for all of Pirate Nation to receive the COVID-19 vaccine before heading off to enjoy your summer.
East Carolina University students, faculty, staff, and members of the community who are 18 and older can sign up for an appointment at studenthealth.ecu.edu/covid/. Appointments are encouraged but walk -ins are welcome. Currently, ECU is distributing the Moderna vaccine.
Beginning Tuesday, April 27, the first 50 vaccine recipients will receive a gift card for free Chick-fil-A nuggets. Students who receive the vaccine will be entered into a giveaway for a Target, Walmart or Best Buy gift card.
April 26-30
ECU’s vaccination clinic location is in the Croatan on main campus this week. The clinic is open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. On Friday, the clinic is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a lunch break from noon to 1 p.m.
May 3-6
Beginning next week, vaccination and testing sites will be combined, and students are encouraged to get tested and vaccinated for COVID-19 before leaving campus. ECU has partnered with the Pitt County Health Department to distribute 1,000 at-home COVID-19 tests as a part of the Say Yes! Covid Test initiative. These tests will be distributed free of charge at the testing and vaccine clinics May 3-6.
On May 3-4, saliva testing and vaccinations will be in the Main Campus Student Center, Room 125, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Another option for testing and vaccination will occur May 5-6 at Ballard Hall in the Sounds conference area from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This location is convenient to the Neighborhood Service Office.
No appointment is necessary for saliva testing or vaccination. Saliva testing is only available to those affiliated with ECU.
