COVID-19 vaccine access expands to faculty, staff and spouses age 65+
Now that all of our health care workers have had an opportunity to sign up to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, we are currently scheduling vaccine appointments for all ECU faculty and staff who are age 65 and older – and their spouses who are age 65 and older – in accordance to the state of North Carolina’s current Phase 2 guidelines.
ECU faculty and staff who are 65 years old and older should visit ECU Physicians’ vaccine page and log in to the faculty/staff/student section to schedule an appointment to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Employees who are signing up a spouse will just need their ECU log in information to access the appointment scheduler and then they will be able to enter their spouse’s name and email.
Employees are asked to follow the important steps on the website – including downloading, printing and completing the required forms – prior to their appointment. They will receive an email 24-72 hours prior to their scheduled appointment to complete their registration.
Employees can use work time to receive the vaccine. Employees should be prepared to provide documentation that the vaccine was received. Employees must notify their supervisor of their need to be absent to receive the vaccination with as much notice as possible so that the work unit can prepare for the employee’s absence from the workplace.
Our COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic is held in Brody Commons at front of the Brody School of Medicine, which is located at 600 Moye Blvd. in Greenville. Please bring both completed forms, your ECU ID and your insurance information to your appointment.

We encourage everyone to receive the COVID-19 vaccine when it becomes available to their priority groups.
