Why did you choose ECU and what are some things that you love most about ECU? I chose ECU for its wonderful people, resources and environment. I love how easily I was able to make this place feel like my home with phenomenal support from my fellow peers and ECU’s faculty.

What do you remember from your own orientation that made you want to be an OA? I loved the energy from my OAs and how much fun it was!

How will your experiences shape your approach as an OA? I want to give back the same energy and passion that I had received and try to make orientation a fun environment for everyone! Even though we’re giving incoming students the tools to be successful, it’s still important to make sure everyone has a great time.

What do you hope incoming students and family members takeaway from orientation? That ECU has the resources to let you be successful and you can certainly find your own community of people, you just have to take the time to look for yourself!
