Why did you choose ECU and what are some things that you love most about ECU? I chose ECU because they had one of the best nursing programs and because when I went to visit the whole campus just felt like home. What I love most about ECU is the support, there have been so many times that I went to the Pirate Academic Success Center or Career Services and they were just so helpful.

What do you remember from your own orientation that made you want to be an OA? I remember that my OA was just so positive and was just so upbeat but also kept it real about what college is like.

How will your experiences shape your approach as an OA? I want to let the incoming freshmen know that college is hard but there are so many support groups and services that are free and accessible to everyone.

What do you hope incoming students and family members takeaway from orientation? I hope they take way all the amazing things we offer not just academic but student life and how involved everyone is on campus.
