East Carolina University (ECU) acknowledges it has executed the Certification and Agreement with the Department of Education and assures it has used the applicable amount of funds designated under the CRRSAA and ARP (a)(1) and 9(a)(4) to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.

Methods used to determine funds received: Students were awarded based on need as demonstrated on the 2021/2022 FASFA. Students could also submit appeals, outlining their particular situation and need.
