APRIL 7-9 CLINIC UPDATE
ECU’s mass vaccination clinic continues Thursday and Friday at Minges Coliseum from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. ECU will be distributing the one-shot vaccine option.
All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to come and get vaccinated. The clinic is open to anyone 18 years of age and older – you don’t have to be an ECU student, staff or faculty member.
Come on out and bring friends and family, too. Again – anyone 18 and older can get the one-shot vaccine at Minges.
Giveaways and prizes provided by Starbucks, Dowdy Student Stores and other partners are planned. Free food will also be available from Jimmy Johns and Muscle Maker.
NO APPOINTMENTS NECESSARY – FREE OF CHARGE – GET VACCINATED!!

COLLEGE WEEK VACCINE CLINICS
East Carolina University is partnering with Vidant Health and Pitt County to distribute a large number of COVID-19 vaccines to ECU students during College Week, April 5-9. Any student, faculty or staff member who is 18 or older is eligible.
College Week is aimed at providing college-age students easy access to the COVID-19 vaccine. Several options for receiving the vaccine are available including clinic locations at the Greenville Convention Center and ECU’s Minges Coliseum. Giveaways and prizes will be distributed throughout the week at both locations. The clinics are also open to those not affiliated with ECU.
April 5-6, Greenville Convention Center, Vidant Health
Vaccination appointments are recommended and available Monday, April 5 and Tuesday, April 6 at the Greenville Convention Center, 303 Greenville Blvd SW, Greenville, NC 27834. Visit VidantHealth.com/Vaccinate or call 252-847-8000 to schedule your appointment. Walk-in appointments will be accommodated from 8 a.m. to noon on both days.
Students, faculty and staff are asked to bring their ECU 1Card and may schedule appointments for themselves and family members during this time using the same link. Second dose appointments will be scheduled before you leave the convention center.
Vidant is scheduling appointments for those who are 16 and 17 years old. Appointments must be made by calling 252-847-8000.
ECU Transit is offering special shuttles to transport students and employees to the convention center. The shuttles will depart from the Main Campus Student Center loop every half hour beginning at 7:30 a.m. both days with the final shuttle leaving the convention center to return to ECU at 5:30 p.m. The destination sign will say “Vaccine Shuttle.” Transportation will also be available for students and employees for the second dose appointments that will be scheduled.

ECU students, faculty and staff are encouraged to schedule appointments for the university’s mass vaccination clinic. The clinic will take place Wednesday, April 7 through Friday, April 9 at Minges Coliseum located on ECU’s Athletics complex from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Giveaways and prizes provided by Starbucks, Dowdy Student Stores and other partners are planned.
At this time, ECU will be distributing the one-shot vaccine option until supplies run out. Those not affiliated with ECU can sign up for an appointment through the same link. ECU students, faculty and staff are asked to bring their 1Card and are encouraged to bring a friend and/or family member.
ECU Transit will provide transportation to Minges, including direct shuttles on campus from the Main Campus Student Center and from off-campus apartment complexes. The complexes affiliated with ECU Transit will be a part of a 30-minute loop between the complexes and Minges. The routes will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the last route leaving Minges at 4:30 p.m. each day.
