SBTDC hosting virtual town hall

The Small Business and Technology Development Center at East Carolina University will host a free virtual town hall for eastern North Carolina small business owners on Wednesday, April 8, at 2 p.m.

The “Small Businesses Coping with COVID-19” weekly series will cover updates from federal and state resources, as well as other programs, that might help small businesses recover from and respond to issues related to COVID19. SBTDC staff will cover topics including applying for relief packages, managing employees affected by the pandemic, and developing business plans to navigate the negative economic effects of COVID-19. The event allows small business owners to interact directly with SBTDC staff and other experts in a virtual environment.

The series will take a holistic approach to supporting businesses affected by COVID-19 by providing additional resources related to stress management, working in a virtual environment, communication, and work-life balance.

Participation is limited to the first 100 registered participants. Those interested are encouraged to register online at https://bit.ly/3dVVoX3.

The town hall series will run weekly at 2 p.m. over the next few weeks as we deal with the current situation.
