#ThanksECU Social Media Assets

There are many reasons to say #ThanksECU.

ECU Basketball player Seth Leday #ThanksECU for letting him do what he loves. Student #ECUResearcher Serena Mooney #ThanksECU for allowing her to be a part of cutting edge research and contribute to her future career in medicine. Interim ECU Chancellor Dr. Ron Mitchelson #ThanksECU for living the golden rule: Pirates show respect.

So, why do you say #ThanksECU?

We are calling for #PirateNation to share their #ThanksECU messages in our #ThanksECU Facebook group. They can submit a photo for a chance to be featured on ECU’s official social media accounts or they can share their #ThanksECU message in video form for a chance to be featured in our end-of-year #ThanksECU video. Submissions for inclusion in the end-of-year video will be accepted through 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 30, 2019.

We are also calling ECU departments, faculty, staff, organizations, etc. to share their #ThanksECU messages across social media throughout the entirety of the holiday season.

A Facebook profile photo frame is available and the #ThanksECU group will begin posting content on Nov. 12. Our #ThanksECU content will include repurposing news stories from this past year, faculty/staff highlights, student features, etc.
