ECU to host 2018 MFA thesis exhibition March 2-24

East Carolina University’s School of Art and Design will present the 2018 MFA thesis exhibit March 2-24 in the Wellington B. Gray Gallery. A closing reception will be held at 5 p.m. March 23.

The exhibiting artists are Rachel Clark, Brian James Culbertson, Katya Harris and Brendan Mims, who are candidates for master of fine arts degrees this spring.

The show includes a range of materials and aesthetics with the artists representing three studio areas in the School of Art and Design: Clark and Mims, ceramics; Culbertson, photography; and Harris, painting and drawing.

The Wellington B. Gray Gallery is in the Jenkins Fine Arts Center. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 10 a.m to 2 p.m. Saturday. The gallery is closed for all university holidays. The fine arts center is handicapped accessible.
