ECU to host 2018 MFA thesis exhibition March 2-24

East Carolina University’s School of Art and Design will present the 2018 MFA thesis exhibit March 2-24 in the Wellington B. Gray Gallery. A closing reception will be held at 5 p.m. March 23.

The exhibiting artists are Rachel Clark, Brian James Culbertson, Katya Harris and Brendan Mims, who are candidates for master of fine arts degrees this spring.

The show includes a range of materials and aesthetics with the artists representing three studio areas in the School of Art and Design: Clark and Mims, ceramics; Culbertson, photography; and Harris, painting and drawing.

The Wellington B. Gray Gallery is in the Jenkins Fine Arts Center. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 10 a.m to 2 p.m. Saturday. The gallery is closed for all university holidays. The fine arts center is handicapped accessible. Individuals with disabilities who require accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) should contact the Department of Disability Support Services at least two weeks before the event at 252-737-1016.
