Faculty/staff publications, awards reported

An article by Academic Library Sciences personnel Jeanne Hoover (Joyner Library), Elizabeth Ketterman (Laupus Library) and Kathy Cable (Laupus Library), titled “Creating a shared neuroscience collection development policy,” won the Daniel T. Richards prize for writing. The award is presented by the Medical Library Association. The article was published in the Journal of Electronic Resources in Medical Libraries.

An article by Ginny Boyer and Virginia Bacon (Joyner Library), “Beyond Discovery Tools: The Evolution of Discovery at ECU Libraries,” appeared in the September 2013 issue of Against the Grain.
