Race to benefit pediatric research

The first Skedaddle for the Small Fries 5K and one mile Fun Run will be held June 8 at the Town Common on First Street in Greenville.

Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. and the race starts at 8 a.m.

Register at http://www.runtheeast.com. The 5K cost is $20 before June 8 and $25 on race day. The Fun Run is $10 in advance and $15 on race day.

All proceeds benefit the East Carolina Pediatric Research Initiative, a non-profit organization working to improve the lives and health of eastern North Carolina children in its support of the Department of Pediatrics at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine.
