Book co-edited by English professor named to best books list

A book co-edited by ECU English professor Dr. Kenneth Parille, “The Art of Daniel Clowes: Modern Cartoonist,” was selected by the Washington Post as one of its Best Books of 2012.

Parille also contributed an essay to the publication. He was quoted in 2012 in the New York Times for a feature on Clowes and one of his essays on the graphic novelist appeared in the 2010 collection, “The Best American Comics Criticism.”
