ECU Lacross Club hosts Pirate Invitational

The Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse Club at East Carolina University held their 8th Annual Lacrosse Pirate Invitational at the North Recreational Complex. Schools from all
over the east coast came to Greenville to participate in the tournament including:

  • Men’s – ECU, Maryland, UNC-W, Virginia, High Point, UNC, James Madison
  • Women’s – ECU, Radfford, Elon, App. State, UNC-W, Heat, Towson, Virginia.

In total, the tournament welcomed 283 visiting student athletes and generated an estimated economic impact of $120,115.20 for the Pitt-Greenville community.

In the finals of the Men’s Division James Madison University defeated the University of Maryland.
