ECU Environmental Health Society Honors New Members
The fall 2011 induction ceremony for the East Carolina University chapter of Epsilon Nu Eta recognized undergraduate and graduate students who have shown exemplary scholastic achievement as environmental health majors .
For induction into the society, undergraduate students must have at least a 3.0 GPA and rank in the top 25% of all Environmental Health undergraduate students. Graduate students must have at least a 3.5 GPA and rank in the top 33% of all Environmental Health graduate students.
Members can also be inducted based on exemplary character and professional service to the field of environmental health.
The guest speaker at the ceremony was Kelly Shook, health sciences coordinator for the Office of Environmental Health and Safety at ECU.
Thirty-one students and faculty members were honored with a certificate for their achievement at the event.
