Work by ECU professor issued patent
Collaborative work that included ECU professor Rachel Roper (Microbiology and Immunology) was issued a US Patent March 1. The patent was for “SARS virus nucleotide and amino acid sequences and uses thereof,” which covers the genome, protein sequence, diagnostics, vaccines and therapeutics.
