Medical school to host forum on swine flu

GREENVILLE, N.C. —   A community forum on swine flu will be held Monday, May 11, at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. and will be in the auditorium of the Brody Medical Sciences Building at 600 Moye Blvd. in Greenville. It will be broadcast live on ECU-TV, Suddenlink cable Channel 99

Experts, including faculty members of the medical school and Pitt County Public Health Director Dr. John Morrow, will discuss topics such as who is at risk for the illness, how people can protect themselves and their families and how concerned the public should be about the disease.

The experts will take questions from the audience.

Parking will be available in front of the Brody Building.
