Sen. Richard Burr, ECU Chancellor Steve Ballard to announce diabetes grant

GREENVILLE, N.C.  —   Sen. Richard Burr will join East Carolina University Chancellor Steve Ballard to announce a corporate grant to further research of gastric-bypass surgery’s effect on diabetes Tuesday, March 21 at 10:30 a.m.

The announcement will be in the Room 226 of the Student Health Center on the ECU campus. Details of the grant will be available at the announcement.

The Student Health Center is on Alumni Lane beside Joyner Library. A map is available online at www.ecu.edu/cs-ecu/upload/CAMPUSfour-color.pdf. Parking for reporters and photographers will be available in front of the Student Health Center on Alumni Lane. Turn off Founders Drive onto Alumni Lane.
