The lecture will be held in the auditorium of the Brody Medical Sciences Building and is sponsored by the Brody Foundation.

Published in 1910 by the Carnegie Foundation, the Flexner Report, written by educator Abraham Flexner, advocated radical changes in the way medical schools were operated in the United States and Canada. The report said the country had too many medical schools, that many were substandard, and the pre-requisites for and the content of medical education need to be defined.
