ECU Alumni Association aids Katrina victims

The East Carolina Alumni Association and the Pitt County Chapter of the American Red Cross will team up this week to help victims of Hurricane Katrina.
The Alumni Association will accept donations for the Red Cross at its tailgate entrance, near Gate 2 of Minges Coliseum, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 3 at the Duke vs. ECU football game.
Contributions may also be made at the Taylor-Slaughter Alumni Center today and Friday, or submitted directly to the American Red Cross online at PirateAlumni.com. All donations will go to relief efforts for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
