ECU interim chancellor, Greenville mayor promise progress
The East Carolina University Chancellor Search Committee will meet at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29, in Room 254 of Mendenhall Student Center on campus.
The committee will select a consultant to assist in its work and will discuss the North Carolina open meetings law. The panel has set up a web site to keep the public informed about its activities.
The committee also will hold two forums to gather input on the search. The forums will be from 3-4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28, in the Great Room at Mendenhall Student Center and from 5:30-7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, in Room 1203 of the Greenville Centre, 2200 S. Charles Blvd. An initial forum was held Thursday, Oct. 23.
