Interior design program reaccredited

The Interior Design program in the School of Human Environmental Sciences at East Carolina University has received a three-year re-endorsement from the National Kitchen and Bath Association. ECU’s program is one of only 15 interior design programs in the nation to hold this recognition. Students in the program can pursue specialized course work in kitchen and bath design, one of the most lucrative areas for professional practice in residential interior design. Kitchen and bath areas represent one of the most expensive aspects of residential construction, and skilled designers who can assist consumers in making sound choices are in great demand in North Carolina and across the country. The re-endorsement letter said, “The board is extremely pleased with your program and would like to congratulate you for your hard work and dedication.”
