ECU to host fall career fairs

GREENVILLE, N.C. (9/22/2025) — ECU Career Services will host two job fairs on Sept. 24 at the Greenville Convention Center. The Job and Internship Fair will be from 8:30-11:30 a.m., followed by the Science, Engineering and Technology Job Fair from 1- 4 p.m. Both events are open to current ECU students and alumni.

A large number of employers are expected to attend both career fairs as they recruit attendees for jobs and internships. The Job and Internship Fair expects approximately 100 employers from a wide range of industries including technology, agriculture, business, manufacturing, hospitality and state departments who will be recruiting students and alumni from all academic majors. In the afternoon, the Science, Engineering and Technology Job Fair will welcome nearly 200 employers recruiting ECU students specifically for jobs and internships in the fields of engineering, construction management, pharmaceuticals and more.

Both events allow attendees to build connections and secure interviews with potential employers. ECU Career Services will also host several of these organizations on Sept. 25 for on-campus interviews with prospective candidates from these events.

“We’re excited to host a range of employers at ECU’s career fairs this fall, from engineering and tech to government, public service and more,” said Nadirah Pippen, director of ECU Career Services. “Their energy and eagerness to meet our students show just how much value they see in the talent coming out of Pirate Nation. This is a great chance for students to explore career paths, learn more about the job market, and make real connections for internships and jobs.”
